Scott Swearingen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Design at The Ohio State University. With a research focus in collaborative game design, his work cultivates the human experience of connectivity across a variety of physical and social boundaries. While at Ohio State, he has exhibited multiple award-winning games at various (inter)national conferences including SIGGRAPH, SIGGRAPHASIA, IEEE-GEM, IFIP-ICEC, and HASTAC. Prior to joining Ohio State, Scott worked as a game designer on a variety of award-winning games and franchises including Medal of HonorThe Simpsons, and The Sims.
