Robin Amy Gordon is a PhD student in the Arts Administration, Education and Policy program. She is a theatre educator, administrator, and artist dedicated to helping individuals and organizations develop agency, practice healthy interdependence, and expand their capacity for growth and change. As an alumna of Oregon Campus Compact’s Executive Learning Series on Equity and Empowerment, a Certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework®, and a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP), Robin’s work is social justice-driven and resilience-informed. As Associate Professor of Speech and Drama at Warner Pacific University, Robin oversaw all educational, administrative, and artistic aspects of the Theatre Department. Twice elected as Faculty Chair, she facilitated and advocated for faculty engagement and professional development. Robin has also taught at The Ohio State University, Kenyon College, Otterbein University, University of Toledo, and Bowling Green State University. She was Artistic Associate and Administrator for Contemporary American Theatre Company (CATCO), and she is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA. For the 2020-2021 academic calendar, Robin is the AAEP Delegate on the Council of Graduate Students. Robin is also currently serving as a member of the OUAB Graduate & Professional Committee, as well as the College of Arts & Sciences Mental Health & Wellness Committee.
