I find it hard to understand my emotions by myself and art has been one of the only things that has helped me process what I am feeling during a difficult time. I like to make things that people see themselves in, and in that, I hope it gives people comfort that what they are feeling is valid and feelings are just a part of being human.  

I find inspiration in the times when I did not feel like I had a voice or felt like I did not deserve to take up space. It sounds dark, but I think my best art comes from the times in my life when I felt like no one believed in me and the only person I had was myself. I become a better artist every time I remind myself that I am the only person I have to prove myself to.
