Nora Lemmon is a second-year undergraduate student studying horn performance with Mr. Bruce Henniss. She grew up in Worthington, Ohio. During her time there, Nora performed in a number of musical ensembles at her high school and in the community, such as the Ohio Music Education Association 2022 All-State Band, the American School Band Directors Association 2021 National Honor Band, the Columbus Youth Symphonic Band, and the Worthington Kilbourne High School Wind Symphony and marching band. As a soloist, Nora won the Worthington Kilbourne High School senior concerto competition and performed at the 2022 Eastman Summer Horn Institute. She also participated in choir and musical theater. Nora is a recent recipient of the Ratmir Timashev and Angela Timashev Arts and Sciences Scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year and received both the WKHS Band Booster Scholarship and the Come to the Water choir scholarship in 2022. As a fourth generation Ohio State Buckeye, Nora eagerly looks forward to continuing her studies at this institution.
