Gillian Kim is a student in the Arts Administration, Education and Policy PhD program. Previously, Gillian worked as the Audience & Community Engagement Coordinator at City Theatre. Additionally, she contributed to the Racial Equity & Arts Funding in Greater Pittsburgh and the Arts and Economic Prosperity in Allegheny County reports while working as a Research Intern at the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council. She earned bachelor's degrees in Communication Arts and Fine Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed her master's degree in Arts Management at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College. In 2019, Gillian presented her capstone project, "Digital Opportunities; A Study of Emerging Digital Fundraising Practices in the Arts," at the Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP) Conference.
