Keya Crenshaw, founder and creative director of Black Chick Media, is a grant-maker, film festival consultant and actress with PAST Productions Columbus, a fabulous African-American theatre company based in Columbus, Ohio. Throughout her career, Keya has worked with The Brooklyn Arts Council, The Women of African Descent Film Festival, The San Francisco Black Film Festival, The Columbus International Film Festival, and the Columbus Post Newspaper. She holds degrees in Film Studies and Women's Studies from The Ohio State University, and has a love of everything film. As a film and theater critic, she ran a blog dedicated to the art for over six years before branching out into the marvelous world of public relations and arts administration. Keya brings extensive experience to her work, including positions as Casting Director, Film Festival Coordinator, and, most recently, as a Talent Agent. Besides remaining active in local community and cultural organizations, Keya also acts as a personal stylist, blogger, and arts producer.
