Join us as Paul Reitter, Professor of Germanic Languages and Literature and Director of The Humanities Institute will present a lecture entitled, “The Vienna of Sigmund Freud and his Interpretation of Dreams," in conjunction with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra’s April 15-16 "Vienna 1900: Tradition & Modernism Festival," Dr. Reitter will provide an overview of Sigmund Freud’s revolutionary ideas of the mind, situated within the context of revolutionary Viennese art such as the painting of Egon Schiele and the journalist work of Karl Kraus.
